Sample Tour Outline:

Day 01: (Monday) Arrive and staff will assist you with clearing immigration and customs and transfer you to the Mena House hotel, where you will enjoy a Pyramid view room with private balcony. Overnight Cairo

VISAS: All travelers to Egypt must have a visa. Citizens of most countries can obtain one on arrival. Please let us know what passport you are traveling with and we will confirm whether you can get your’s on arrival.

Day 02: (Tuesday) A full day tour of Memphis, the ancient capital, Sakkarra with it's famous Stepped Pyramid and Dahshur with it's famous Bent and Red Pyramids plus the new Imhotep museum. Overnight Cairo (B)

Day 03: (Wednesday) Tour of the Giza plateau where you will marvel at the seventh wonder of the world, the Great Pyramid. Stare into the face of the inscrutable Sphinx. Overnight Cairo (B)

Day 04: (Thursday) Enjoy a visit to the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities, featuring King Tut's treasures. Then visit the famous Khan el Khalili bazaar where travelers have been finding bargains since the middle ages. Overnight Cairo (B)

Day 05: (Friday) Depart Cairo by air-conditioned vehicle for Alexandria. The city Alexander the Great built and Cleopatra made famous. Arriving enjoy the comfort of the beautiful Renaissance Alexandria Hotel right on the shore of the Mediterranean Sea. Overnight Alexandria (B)

Day 06: (Saturday) Tour Alexandria including the Greco-Roman sites, the museums and the new world famous library. Return to Cairo in the evening and the comfort of the Fairmont Heliopolis hotel. (B)

Day 07: (Sunday) Staff transfers you to the airport, assists with checking in and you fly to Luxor. Arriving staff transfers you to the Sonesta St. George hotel where you will have a Nile view room. Overnight Luxor (B)

Day 08: (Monday) Buffet breakfast, check out of the hotel, visit the West Bank's Necropolis of Thebes featuring the Valley of the Kings, Queen Hatshepsut's Temple and the Colossi of Memnon. Return to the East Bank to board your 5 star Deluxe Nile cruiser, the Queen of Hansa. Ship features include panoramic opening floor to ceiling windows, large cabins, T.V./video/radio, private baths and individual climate control. Lunch, then visit Luxor and Karnak Temples. Watch the sunset over the Necropolis of Thebes while enjoying dinner. Evening entertainment. Overnight Luxor (B at the hotel, L,D on the ship)
OPTIONAL sound and light show at Karnak Temple.

Day 09: (Tuesday) Enjoy breakfast while sailing to Esna. Pass the Esna lock and sail to Edfu. Lunch on board. Dinner and evening entertainment. Overnight Edfu (B,L,D)

Day 10: (Wednesday) Breakfast then visit the Temple of Horus. Enjoy lunch while sailing to Kom Ombo then to Aswan. Dinner and evening entertainment. Overnight Aswan (B,L,D)

Day 11: (Thursday) Visit the Temple of Philae, the Pharaohs Granite quarries featuring the Unfinished Obelisk and the High Dam. FREE BONUS: Afternoon visit to the Botanical Gardens traveling by Felucca (native sailboat). These are wind powered only so if there is no wind this will not operate. Dinner and evening entertainment. Overnight Aswan (B,L,D)

Day 12: (Friday) Disembark the cruise after your buffet breakfast. Staff will transfer you to the airport, assist with checking in for a flight to Cairo. Arriving, staff will transfer you to the Fairmont Heliopolis hotel. Overnight Cairo (B)
NOTE: optional tour to visit the famous temples of Ramses at Abu Simbel this morning. Cost is $250 per person including transfers, flights, private guided tour, entry fees, service charges and taxes.

Day 13: (Saturday) Staff will transfer you to the airport, assist with exit formalities and checking in for your international departure.


TOURS INCLUDE: Domestic flights in Egypt in coach (economy) class. All transfers by air-conditioned vehicle relating to the tour program starting with arrival to Cairo. Baggage handling of no more than 2 pieces of luggage per person however baggage and personal effects are at the owner's risk at all time during the tour. Hotels (based on double occupancy). 5 star Deluxe Nile cruise with upper decks, outside Nile view cabin, private bath, individual climate control. Meals as outlined by B for breakfast, L for lunch and D for dinner. Fees for visiting antiquity sites and museums. Services of an English speaking licensed Egyptologist. Service charges and taxes.

NOT included are: Air ticket taxes, fuel surcharges, items of a personal nature such as tips, entry visa (available at the airport on entry for USA citizens. Other nationalities should check with the nearest Egyptian consulate), phone calls, laundry, drinks with meals, any items not specifically covered in the included items.

Single Price is for Single occupancy hotel rooms and cruise cabins based on a minimum of two travelers. Single travelers (one person on the tour) would have additional cost.

FREQUENT TRAVELERS: You are welcome to arrange your own international air or we can assist. Also if you are a member of any hotel chain frequent traveler program you are welcome to use your points for hotel rooms and the cost of the tour will be reduced accordingly OR if you want to accumulate points plus take advantage of membership hotel room upgrades let us know which program you want to use.
