The Program:
Day
01: (Saturday) Arrive Cairo, staff will assist with clearing
immigration and customs then transfer you to the Le Meridien Pyramids
hotel. Overnight Cairo
OPTIONAL sound and light show at the pyramids ($30 per person)
VISAS: All travelers to Egypt must have a visa. Citizens of most countries can obtain one on arrival. Please let us know what passport you are traveling with and we will confirm whether you can get your’s on arrival.
Day 02: (Sunday) Enjoy an international
buffet breakfast and check out before starting the day at the Pyramids
at Giza, home of the 7th wonder of the world, the Great Pyramid. Visit
the inscrutable Sphinx and then a wonderful afternoon to explore the
treasures of the Egyptian Antiquity Museum featuring King Tut's treasures.
Staff transfers you to the airport, assists with checking in and you
fly to Luxor. Arriving staff transfers you to the Sonesta Luxor Hotel.

Day
03: (Monday) Buffet breakfast, check out of the hotel,
visit the West Bank's Necropolis of Thebes featuring the Valley
of the Kings,
Queen Hatshepsut's Temple and the Colossi
of Memnon.
Return to the East Bank to board your 5 star Deluxe Nile cruiser,
the Queen of Hansa. Ship features include panoramic opening floor
to ceiling windows, large cabins, T.V./video/radio, private baths
and individual climate control. Lunch, then visit Luxor and Karnak
Temples. Watch the sunset over the Necropolis of Thebes while enjoying
dinner. Evening entertainment. Overnight Luxor (B at the hotel, L,D
on the ship)

Day
04: (Tuesday) Enjoy breakfast while sailing to Esna. Pass
the Esna lock and sail to Edfu. Lunch on board. Dinner and evening
entertainment. Overnight Edfu (B,L,D)

05: (Wednesday) Breakfast then visit the Horus
Temple then
sail to Kom Ombo (lunch while sailing) where you will visit the temple
of two gods,
Sobek (the crocodile god) and Horus. Sail to Aswan. Dinner and evening
entertainment. Overnight Aswan (B,L,D)
Day
06: (Thursday) After breakfast visit the Temple
of Philae,
the Pharaoh's granite quarries with the Unfinished
Obelisk
and the High
Dam.
FREE BONUS: Afternoon sail on the Nile by Felucca (native sailboat). These are wind powered
only so if there is no wind this will not operate. Dinner and evening
entertainment. Overnight Aswan (B,L,D)
Day
07: (Friday) Disembark the cruise after your buffet breakfast.
Visit the Nubian Museum
and the famous Spice Market. Staff transfers you to the Movenpick
Elephantine Island Resort. Overnight Aswan (B)
NOTE: Optional tour to St.
Simeon's Monastery:
Travel by motor launch to the West Bank to board your ship of the
desert (camel) for a short ride to St. Simeon's Monastery ruins. $60
per person (If you select the camel trek you will do this in the morning,
then check in at the hotel and in the afternoon visit the Nubian museum
and spice market).
Day
08: (Saturday) Breakfast, check out of the hotel and staff
transfers you to board the M/S Kasr Ibrim. Lunch on board then visit
Kalabsha Temple, Beit El Wali and the Kiosk of Kertassi. Afternoon
tea is served in the lounge. Dinner and overnight on board in Aswan
Harbor. Overnight cruise (B,L,D)

09: (Sunday) Sailing to Wadi El Seboua, breakfast and cocktail
when passing the Tropic of Cancer. Overnight cruise (B,L,D)

10: (Monday) Breakfast on board followed by a morning visit
to Wadi El Seboua, the Temple of Dakka, and Temple of Meharakka. Lunch
on board while sailing to Amada. Visit the Temples of Amada and of
Derr, as well as the Tomb of Penout. Dinner and overnight on board
at Amada. Overnight Cruise (B,L,D)
Day
11: (Tuesday) Sailing to Kasr Ibrim. Breakfast and morning
visit to the Citadel of Kasr Ibrim. Tour conducted from the ship's
sun deck as entrance to the site is not permitted. Sailing to Abu
Simbel. After-lunch visit of the Temples of Abu Simbel. Candlelight
dinner on board and overnight at Abu Simbel. Overnight cruise (B,L,D)
OPTIONAL Sound and Light show at the temple $30 per person.
Day
12: (Wednesday) Breakfast on board. Those who wish may
enjoy a second visit to the Abu Simbel Temples to watch the sunrise
(entrance ticket is not included). Disembarkation. Staff transfers
you to the airport, assists with checking in for your flight to Cairo.
Arriving staff transfers you to the Fairmont Heliopolis hotel. Overnight

13: (Thursday) Staff transfers you to the airport, assists
with exit formalities and checking in for your international departure.

TOURS INCLUDE: OPERATES WITH NO MINIMUM AND A MAXIMUM OF 16 TRAVELERS. Domestic flights in Egypt in coach (economy)
class. All transfers by air-conditioned vehicle relating to the tour
program starting with arrival to Cairo. Baggage handling of no more
than 2 pieces of luggage per person however baggage and personal effects
are at the owner's risk at all time during the tour. Hotels (based
on double occupancy). 5 star Deluxe Nile cruise and 5 star Deluxe
Lake cruise with upper decks, outside Nile view cabin, private bath,
individual climate control. Meals as outlined by B for breakfast,
L for lunch and D for dinner. Fees for visiting antiquity sites and
museums. Services of an English speaking licensed Egyptologist. Service
charges and taxes.
NOT
included are: Air ticket taxes, fuel surcharges, items of a
personal nature such as tips, entry visa (available at the airport
on entry for USA citizens. Other nationalities should check with the
nearest Egyptian consulate), phone calls, laundry, drinks with meals,
any items not specifically covered in the included items.

Holiday events:
Most hotels and cruises in Egypt have special Christmas and New Year festivities.
In most cases these are mandatory for all guests.
As an example the prices generally are from $75 to $150 per person however we
do not know the actual price until a month or so before the holiday.

You pay them at the location on check out.
Tours must be booked at least 45 days prior to arrival.

Single Price is for Single
occupancy hotel rooms and cruise cabins based on a minimum of two
travelers. Single travelers (one person on the tour) would have additional
cost.
FREQUENT
TRAVELERS: You are welcome to arrange your own international
air or we can assist. Also if you are a member of any hotel chain
frequent traveler program you are welcome to use your points for hotel
rooms and the cost of the tour will be reduced accordingly OR if you
want to accumulate points plus take advantage of membership hotel
room upgrades let us know which program you want to use.
