Day
01: (Saturday) Arrive Cairo, staff will assist
with clearing immigration and customs then transfer
you to the Le
Meridien Pyramids hotel. Welcome Dinner. Overnight Cairo (D)
Optional Sound and Light Show at the Pyramids: $30 a person
VISAS: All travelers to Egypt must have a visa. Citizens of most countries can obtain one on arrival. Please let us know what passport you are traveling with and we will confirm whether you can get your’s on arrival.
Day 02: (Sunday) Enjoy
a full international buffet breakfast and check out before starting
the day at the Pyramids
at Giza, home of the 7th wonder of the world, the
Great Pyramid. Visit the inscrutable Sphinx and then a wonderful afternoon to explore the treasures
of the Egyptian
Antiquity Museum featuring King Tut's treasures. Staff transfers you to the airport, assists with checking in and you fly to Luxor. Arriving staff transfers you to the Sonesta Luxor Hotel. Overnight Luxor (B,L,D)
Day
03: (Monday) Buffet breakfast, check out of the
hotel and staff will transfer you to your 5 star Deluxe Nile cruiser,
the Queen
of Hansa. Ship features include panoramic opening
floor to ceiling windows, large cabins, T.V./video/radio,
private baths and individual climate control. Lunch,
then visit Luxor and Karnak Temples. Watch the sunset over the Necropolis
of Thebes while enjoying dinner. Evening entertainment.

04: (Tuesday) Enjoy breakfast while sailing to
Esna. Pass the Esna lock and sail to Edfu. Lunch on
board. Dinner and evening entertainment. Overnight Edfu

05: (Wednesday) Breakfast then visit the Temple
of Horus.
Enjoy lunch while sailing to Kom Ombo then to Aswan.
Dinner and evening entertainment. Overnight Aswan (B,L,D)

06: (Thursday) Breakfast then visit the High
Dam,
the Unfinished
Obelisk and the Temple
of Philae.
Lunch. FREE BONUS: Afternoon sail on the Nile by Felucca (native sailboat). These are wind powered only so if
there is no wind this will not operate. Dinner and evening

07: (Friday) Breakfast, Free morning to enjoy
Aswan or optional excursions, Lunch on board. Afternoon
sail to Kom Ombo. Visit the Temple
of Kom Ombo and sail to Edfu. Dinner and evening
entertainment. Overnight Edfu. (B,L,D)

08: (Saturday) Breakfast while sailing to Esna. Cross the lock and continue sailing to Luxor. Lunch while sailing. Dinner and evening entertainment. Overnight Luxor (B,L,D)

09: (Sunday) Breakfast then cross the Nile and
visit the West Bank (the Valley
of the Kings and Queens,
the Temple
of Queen Hatshepsut at El Deir El Bahari and the Colossi
Memnon). Lunch on board. Afternoon free at leisure
in Luxor. Dinner and evening entertainment. Overnight

10: (Monday) After
breakfast staff transfers you to the airport, assists
with checking in and you fly to Cairo. Transfer by air-conditioned
vehicle to Alexandria,
the city Alexander the Great built and Cleopatra made
famous. Enjoy the comfort of the Renaissance Alexandria Hotel,
right on the shore of the Mediterranean Sea. Overnight

Dinner in Alexandria)

11: (Tuesday) A full day touring the wonders
of Alexandria including the catacombs,
the museums, the Greco-roman sites and the new library.

12: (Wednesday) Enjoy Alexandria in the morning
and return to Cairo in the afternoon. Arriving transfer
to the Cairo
Sonesta hotel. Overnight Cairo (B,L,D)

13: (Thursday) After your buffet breakfast enjoy
a tour of Old
Cairo with it's famous churches and synagogue plus
the Citadel
of Salah el Din, bane of the crusaders and the Alabaster
Mosque then end the day with a visit to the Khan
el Khalili bazaar where travelers have been finding
bargains since the middle ages. Overnight Cairo (B,L,D)

14: (Friday) Visit Memphis (the ancient capital), Sakkarra with the Stepped Pyramid and Dahshur with it's famous Bent and Red Pyramids plus the new Imhotep museum. Overnight

15: (Saturday) Staff will transfer you to the airport,
assist with exit formalities and checking in for your international
departure.

INCLUDE:OPERATES WITH NO MINIMUM AND A MAXIMUM OF 16 TRAVELERS. Domestic flights in Egypt in coach (economy) class. All transfers by air-conditioned vehicle relating to the tour program starting with arrival to Cairo. Baggage handling of no more than 2 pieces of luggage per person however baggage and personal effects are at the owner's risk at all time during the tour. Hotels (based on double occupancy). 5 star Deluxe Nile cruise with upper decks, outside Nile view cabin, private bath, individual climate control. Meals as outlined by B for breakfast, L for lunch and D for dinner. Included meals are in hotel or cruise main dining room and are buffet. Fees for visiting antiquity sites and museums. Holiday events:
Most hotels and cruises in Egypt have special Christmas and New Year festivities.
In most cases these are mandatory for all guests.
As an example the prices generally are from $75 to $150 per person however we
do not know the actual price until a month or so before the holiday.

Single Price is for Single
occupancy hotel rooms and cruise cabins based on a minimum of two
travelers. Single travelers (one person on the tour) would have additional
cost.
FREQUENT
TRAVELERS: You are welcome to arrange your own international
air or we can assist. Also if you are a member of any hotel chain
frequent traveler program you are welcome to use your points for hotel
rooms and the cost of the tour will be reduced accordingly OR if you
want to accumulate points plus take advantage of membership hotel
room upgrades let us know which program you want to use.
