Day 01: (Sunday) After breakfast, check out and staff transfers you to the airport, assists with exit formalities and checking in for your flight to Tel Aviv. Arriving staff will meet you as you exit customs then enjoy a tour of this beach resort city before checking into your hotel, the Renaissance (or similar). Spend the evening with a stroll along the seaside promenade where you will find excellent restaurants and entertainment. Overnight Tel-Aviv (Breakfast at the hotel in Cairo)

Day 02: (Monday) Breakfast, check out, then drive from Tel Aviv via Ashdod & Ashkelon to Beersheba. After a short visit to the Negev capital continue to Masada. Ascend by cable car to the spectacular mountain top fortress. The Roman camps and siege ramps can still be seen at the base. Enjoy time at the Dead Sea, where you will have time to take a swim if you desire. Travel to Jerusalem and enjoy the comfort of the Olive Tree hotel (or similar). Overnight Jerusalem (B)

Day 03: (Tuesday) After breakfast we will head to Mt. Scopus to enjoy the panoramic view of Jerusalem. Visit the Garden of Gethsemane and the Church of the Agony. Drive to Mt. Zion and visit the tomb of King David, the Room of the Last Supper and the Dormition Abbey. Continue on to the New City and visit the Israel Museum’s Shrine of the Book with the famous Dead Sea scrolls and the new Supreme Court building. Visit the newly renovated Holocaust Museum, Yad Vashem (the memorial site to the six million Jews who were killed in the Holocaust). Visit the Hadassah medical center and Marc Chagall’s stained glass windows. End the day in the picturesque Ein Karem, birth place of John the Baptist. Overnight Jerusalem (B)

Day 04: (Wednesday) After breakfast we will walk the Old City visiting the renewed Jewish Quarter; the Western Wall (“Wailing Wall”), the Temple area, the colorful bazaars and the Via Dolorosa plus the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. Then proceed to Bethlehem* for a visit to Rachel’s Tomb and the Church of the Nativity. Return to Jerusalem. Overnight Jerusalem (B)

Day 05: (Thursday) After breakfast, check out and drive via the Jordanian valley to the Sea of Galilee passing the city of Jericho to the ancient city of Beit Shean for an overview of this remarkable archeological site. Continue to Tiberias, the old center of Jewish learning. Drive along the shores of the Sea of Galilee to Capernaum to visit the ruins of the ancient synagogue. Continue to Tiberias and the comfort of the Sheraton Moriah Hotel (or similar) Overnight Tiberias (B)

Day 06: (Friday) Breakfast then depart for the Golan Heights. On to Birkat Ram to visit one of the Druze villages. Drive via Kiryat Shmone and the Hula Valley to Safed where we will visit synagogues and the artists colony. Then to Nazareth to visit the city’s Christian holy sites. Overnight Tiberias (B)

Day 07: (Saturday) After Breakfast, check out and drive to Acre for a visit of the Crusader castle and fortifications. Then to Haifa. Visit the Bahai Shrine and its incredible gardens. At Mount Carmel we will have a breathtaking panoramic view of Haifa Bay and the western Galilee. Then down the coast to Caesarea, the ancient port city of Herod the Great. Visit the Roman theater and the Crusader fortress. Then on to Tel Aviv and the comfort of the Renaissance (or similar). Overnight Tel Aviv (B)

Day 08: (Sunday) Check out, staff transfers you to the airport for your international departure.
